Theres no news as bad NEWS!!!

Thats the formula of every news channel today, at least it seems to if you apply some logic. If you opened any news channel the day before yesterday, there were stories about the art protest everywhere. Some had even got experts to speak upon the topic(just to attract visitors actually). But today every news channel has gone blank. Zero news about it. Where did all the heat go? It was not a fire from a single match. The whole nation's artists came together for this. And its over so soon?

The same thing happens to every news which is important today. Instead the news which will attract people( I don't know what kind of), are shown round the clock. Take the case of the kissing issue between Richard Gear and Shilpa Shetty. The footage is still shown in some news channels. But is it that big issue? Some news channels (one, actually) even called up Mika to ask him how he felt about the issue (he is a real expert isn't he?). Just imagine embarrassment felt by that poor guy. But the news channel got a higher TRP as planned.

Haven't news channels taken birth like termites??? Large in number, yet so few useful. Everybody is fighting for "exclusive" news which doesn't exist. So they are making crap, headlines of the day. Haven't we had enough? Shouldn't the Government come up and censor news channels instead of being concerned about FTV and AXN showing something adult? The number of news channels is even more than the number of Ekta Kapoor's soaps. And news channels are no different than Ekta Kapoor's soaps. Theres murder, suspense(what's coming up after the break?) and drama, everything anyone can ask for.
